Abstract
With 20.33 - 0.61 days larval period having maximum mortality in the first instar, 2.12 - 0.09 days prepupal period and 12.75 - 0.53 days pupal period, the life-history of C. loreyi Dupt. was completed in 40.77 E 1.49 days during the premonsoon period. The incubation period of eggs remained for 3-4 days with 87.22% hatching. Adult longevity remained 5.56 - 0.40 days with a sex ratio of 1 : 1.67 for female and male moths, respectively.
