Abstract

The influence of seasons on the incidence, intensity, density and index of nematode infection in two earthworm hosts Octochaetoides philloti and Pontoscolex corethrurus was studied in two annual cycles from July 2001 to June 2003 in Ranga Reddy district, Andhra Pradesh. The impact of abiotic factors like temperature, rainfall and moisture on the incidence, intensity, density and index of infection of nematode parasites was discussed.
