Abstract

A survey on the plant parasitic montatodes of the sub-family Tylenchinae under the family Trylenchidae in Manipur was conducted. Altogether 8 species of the normatodes under the present sub-family were encountered alsociated with different plant species. The survey revealed Aylenchus maktii Phukan & Sawal, 1980 as the most abundant species and Catlonchus brevir Siddiqui & Khan, 1983 as the last abundant species of nematodesAinder the sub-family.
