PREDACEOUS SPIDERS OF MANGO PESTS AND THEIR EXTENT OF FEEDING

Abstract
The feeding intensity of four spiders viz. Zygobalus indica, Lyssomanes Sikkimiensis, Myrmarachne begalensis and Lycosa mackenziei was investigated under laboratory conditions on insect pests of mango and it was found that all the four spider species feed voraciously on mango hoppers and mango mealybugs and moderately on mango fruit fly and fruitfly.
