Abstract

An investigation was carried out during 2012-13 on the morphometrics of ladybird beetle, Menochilus sexumaculatus (Fabr.). The morphological observations indicated that the mean body length of M. serunaculatus was 3.79 mm and width 2.97 mm, the head length was 0.84 mm and width 1.14 min, the antennal length was 0.54 mm, thorax length was 1.64 mm and width 1.58 mm, the length of fore leg, middle keg and hind leg were 3.34, 2.63 and 3.92 mm, respectively. The elytra length was 3.90 mm and its width 2.52 mm whereas the hind wing length was 5.64 mm and width 2.11 mm and abdomen length was 1.37 mm and width 2.09 mm.
