Abstract
The present communication deals with the sex population status of a hill stream loach fish, Lepedocephalichthys guntea (Ham) inhabiting the river Mandal in the foothills of Garhwal Himalaya, Uttarakhand. The sex population status (1 male 1.24 female) was quite natural one in Lepedocephalychthys gunlea (Ham).
