Abstract
A new species of Pellucidhaptor Price and Mizelle, 1964 is described from the skin of Carassius sp. (Cyprinidae) from Meerut. The fishes showed poor very intensity of infection, being infected by only one and two worms respectively. P. kritskyia n.sp., appeared to be the first report of this genus from the Indian subcontinent and also from the host, Carassius sp. i.e. Nilsson, an exotic aquarium fish in India.
