Abstract
Bacterial probiotics (Bacillus subtilis) and dietary supplements improve the growth and biochemical performance of Common carp (Cyprinus carpio) fingerlings. Fish were nourished for 60 days with a control diet and experimental diets containing B. subtilis 106 to 109 CFU/ ml-l respectively. Dietary supplementation of B. subtilis feeding trial was conducted for 60 days to improve water quality and growth parameters were observed through weight gain, Specific growth rates, and Percent survival of C. carpio fingerlings all through the test period.
