Abstract

Larvicidal and pupicidal effects of dichlorvos and phosphamidon (O.P. compounds) were made on the third instar larval stages of Corcyra cephalonica Staint. The results revealed that diet containing 0.018% (a.i.) V/w of dichlorvos and 0.02% (a.i.) v/w of phosphamidon caused 100% larval mortality indicating absolute toxicity to the pest. Dichlorvos is slightly more toxic in comparison to phosphamidon.
