Abstract
Prey - predator ratio, prey consumption rate, numerical density and occurrence pattern of important aphidophagous syrphids (Episyphus balteatus De Geer and Ischiodon scutellaris Fabr) have been studied in relation to the prey species Lipaphis erysimi on a local variety of mustard plant.
