Abstract
Examination often Psittacula eupatria revealed the infection due to Lapwingia (Singh, 1952). The species is described as new to science. The new form is characterised by having scolex quadrangular. highly muscular rostellum, Neck short, wide. Mature proglottides large, Genital pore big, oval, irregularly alternate. Ovary bilobed.
