ANTHROPOMETRIC MEASUREMENTS AND PHYSICAL PERFORMANCE IN PREADOLESCENT SCHOOL BOYS

Abstract
The present study aims at evaluating the physical performance of school going pre-adolescent boys of Punjab, ranging from 11 to 13 yrs of age. Measurements were taken as height, Weight, biacromial diameter, upper arm circumference, calf circumference, biceps, suprailiac and suprascapular skinfolds. The physical performance tests of standing broad jump and sergeant jump were conducted. The pre-adolescent boys have shown significant rise in growth patterns with increase in age.
