Abstract

The study aims to assess the incidence of skeletal fluorosis in relation to sex, age and fluoride level of drinking water, arising at 08 rural locations in Unnao district of Uttar Pradesh. The overall, incidence of skeletal fluorosis in our study sample was 27.56%. It was higher in males (27.99%) in compared to females (27.15%), but difference statistically not significant. It was found with positive correlation between the incidence of skeletal fluorosis fluoride level of drinking water and age of people.
