Abstract
The toxic effect of copper sulphate and zinc acetate on the activity of the few enzymes like alkaline phosphatases and acid phosphatases in the liver and kindey of Rattus rattus albino have been analysed histochemically. Inhibited enzyme reactions suggested damage to the plasma membrane, lysosomes and endoplasmic reticulum.
