Abstract

The present paper highlights the impact of starvation and refeeding in albino rats. Impact were assessed on protein content deposited in various organs during feeding and maintenance of life in fasting animals. Protein are utilized at a very later stage of starvation as it is indispensable. During refeeding this biochemical constituent recovers more rapidly than glucose and lipid.
