A NEW SPECIES OF SEJIDAE (ACARI: MESOSTIGMATA) INHABITING DRIED GINGER FROM SOUTH INDIA

Abstract
During a study of mites associated with stored products in Kerala state of South India, one new species of sejid mite Sejus zingiberae sp.nov was collected from dried ginger, which is described and illustrated. Descriptions are based on the morphology of adult females.
