Abstract
During the course of faunistic survery of Chhatisgarh area, covering 4 districts of M.P., available informations with regard to native use of animal fats by the tribals in the treatment of chronic diseases have been recorded. The study has revealed the use of 10 sps. in the treatment of various human ailments.
