Abstract
No possible deterimental effect of amitraz and fluvalinate was found on the honeybees' longevity, uncapped and capped brood and brood rearing activity of the treated and untreated colonies. Meanlongevity of Apis mellifera L. workers was 28.3 +1.5 and 28.1 + 1.1 days in the amitraz and fluvalinate treated colonies as against 30.3 + 1.3 days in the untreated colonies, respectively.
