Abstract

Genetic variabilities of eightbivoltine silkworm genotypes Bombyx mori L. were studied in this paper for identification of superior genotypes. Analysis of data revealed that most of the desirable quantitative traits were found in the genotypes viz. NB-18, P-5, KPG-A and KS-O, which clearly indicate that these genotypes may be utilized in the future breeding programme and commercial use through controlled hybridization.
