Abstract

During the course of ethnozoological study of eastern U.P., covering 9 districts, available information regard to the native use of the drugs derived from animals by the tribals in the treatment of diffe dangerous diseases has been recorded. The area has remained unexplored so far. The study has rethe medicinal applications of different parts/organs/secretions/excretions of several species of birds mammals in the treatment of various human diseases.
