Abstract
Diurnal variations in physico-chemical parameters of fresh water bodies of India have been studied by Ganapati (1955), George (1961), Verma (1967), Saxena & Adoni (1979), Mishra et al. (1975), Dobriyal & Singh, (1981), Malhotra et al. (1984) and Khanna & Badola (1987). The present paper deals with the study of the diurnal changes in some physico-chemical parameters of the Girital lake.
