Abstract
The testis of M. idella is composed of numerous saccular acini, 115-125um long and 55-65um broad. Histological analyses of the testis of animals in different moulting stages reveal that there exists definite correlation between specific stages of the moulting cycle and specific stages of spermatogenesis in M. idella.
