Abstract

In general paper sheet and cloth piece are used to allow silkworm (B. mori L.) moths to lay eggs. But suitability of laying sheets, made of different materials had not been studied so far. In this investigation, seven different types of laying sheets viz. starch coated cloth, blotting paper, tissue paper, starch coated paper, glass pan, sunmica and polythene sheet were utilized with a view to study the suitability of different laying sheets.
