Abstract

The correlation of organic matter percentage with the population dynamics of plant parasitic nematodes at 3 different vertical depths around Citrus sinensis under field condition has been assessed in the present investigation. Inverse relationship of population dynamics of plant parasitic nematodes with organic matter percentage was observed at all vertical depths. Linear regression equations and log linear model also provide evidences in favour of this observation. Thus it can be safely concluded that increased concentiations of organic matter will be detrimental for the growth of nema population.
